For the past 5 years
Station 16 has donated a Fire Station tour and pasta lunch to the Alameda
County Meals on Wheels/5 Star Night Gala. It directly contributes to
feeding seniors. Alameda County Meals on Wheels raises money to support feeding homebound
seniors. Every weekday, 2,100 warm nutritious meals are delivered to
seniors across Alameda County. It is more than nutrition; it is a daily
wellness check and a warm smile that help keep people in their own homes,
where they want to be.
